On October 29, 2024, the 30th Charity Golf Tournament for Guide Dogs was held at the Atsugi International Country Club, with 159 participants, including 11 female professional golfers.
JGDA has been holding the Charity Golf Tournament for Guide Dogs since 1993 and was able to hold it again this year with the support and cooperation of many companies.
We will make good use of the participation fees and donations from sponsors for our guide dog project.

The session started with an opening address by Yukihiko Inoue, Chairman of JGDA, and the players were divided into groups of three or four.

In the evening, there was a reception party, where Masahito Kanetaka, President of JGDA, thanked all attendants for their ongoing support. At the announcement of the golf tournament results, sponsors handed out daily necessities and food items as prizes, such as toilet paper, fruits, honey, and rice, depending on the score.
The guide dog demonstration allowed participants to deepen their understanding of guide dogs and vision impairment while they enjoyed a meal and a time to get to know each other.

JGDA is run by generous support from the public, with 90% of our guide dog project funded by donations and fundraising.
We will continue to carry out a wide range of activities, including training guide dogs, providing rehabilitation for people with vision impairment, cooperating with national and international organisations, and promoting understanding of guide dogs so that vision-impaired people can go anywhere at any time, as they wish.
