Japan Guide Dog General Center "Fuji Harness"
Japan Guide Dog General Center "Fuji Harness" was established in October 2006 as the third training center of the Japan Guide Dog Association. Its unique design, which blends in with the rich natural landscape located at the foot of Mt. Fuji, has become familiar to many citizens. In addition to training guide dogs, the Center also has many characteristics, such as "promoting the awareness of guide dogs and the vision-impaired," "a base for puppy whelping," and "care for retired guide dogs," and operates its business with the support of everyone.

A multipurpose training room has been set up in the heart of the center, and we are trying to spread awareness about guide dogs and vision impairments to many visitors by demonstrating guide dogs every day and conveying accurate information in an easy-to-understand manner. The corridor that meanders like a twist rises gently toward Mt. Fuji, and the kennel structure is placed between them. The external space in the gaps between each building is adjacent to the free runs required for each building. The overall structure, which is based on straight lines, makes it easy for the vision-impaired to identify their position.
