AC Japan Launches New Campaign : “Koomiete, Watashi Borantia Chu”
About the new support campaign
On July 1, AC Japan launched its new support campaign advertisement, “Koomiete, Watashi Borantia Chu” which means, “Believe It or Not, I’m Volunteering.” The campaign was made possible through AC Japan’s Support Campaign programme, which provides advertising opportunities for non-profit organisations engaged in public welfare activities. This marks the eighth time that the Japan Guide Dog Association has been featured through the programme.

The new poster titled ““Koomiete, Watashi Borantia Chu.”
The special bond of volunteers
This year’s campaign highlights the invaluable role played by volunteers who care for guide dog puppies, retired guide dogs, and breeding dogs in their own homes. Through heart-warming scenes of everyday life—walks, naps, and simply spending time together—the advertisements illustrate the special bond between the dogs and their volunteer families.
For many people, the word “volunteering” can sound like a significant commitment. However, guide dog volunteering is not only a meaningful way to contribute to society; it can also enrich the daily lives of the families who welcome these dogs into their homes. By portraying the ordinary yet rewarding experience of living alongside a dog, the campaign shows that the joy of sharing your life with a dog can also become a powerful way of supporting someone else.
Through this message, we hope to raise awareness of guide dog volunteering—a role that is still not widely understood—and encourage more people to consider getting involved.
